Mr. and Mrs. Marion KING of
Mr. and Mrs. John ELLER spent Sunday with friends near Rolla.
Aaron PRICE's wheat yields 24 bushel to the acre.
December 8, 1899
Dec. 1.
Ader ELLER and Sam WILEY bought ponies at Rolla Monday.
Mahlon ELLER and the KELLY brothers will go east to spend the winter.
W. H. PRICE gave his friends a Thanksgiving dinner. To say that we were royally
entertained is simply stating a fact which every one present can verify. The
following is a partial list of those present: Mr. Ed CLAUSE and family; Mr.
James KEEGAN and family; Mr. Wm. RICE and family; Mr. Henry ELLER and family;
Mr. Wm. ARNOLDS and family; Mr. J. B.KEENY and family; Mrs. HOGENBUCKS; Messrs.
Joe ZOBRASKY, C. GOODYEAR, Ray STANLEY, D.C. FERLING and Bill and Tom WILEY..
The Brethren held Thanksgiving services at the school
house. A fair audience was present. A collection was taken up for the starving
poor of
January 19, 1900
Jan. 11.
Mrs. Lizzie ELLER and family spent Tuesday with Mrs. John
ELLER.
Miss Mary ELLER and Mrs. Jess EIKENBERRY are on the sick list. Messrs. A.
ELLER, C.GOODYEAR and L. EIKENBERRY visited in
John GOODYEAR is expected home soon. Mrs. GOODYEAR will remain in
Aaron and Grace PRICE will spend the rest of this winter in Indiana, visiting
friends at their old home.
Barney KEENEY, Bill PRICE, Wm. RICE and Ed CLOUSE with their families spent
Sunday at Henry ELLERs..
Milt ELLER and Tom WILEY visited A. J. BLOUGH, the Ellison dentist and had some
work done in that line--without pain.
Messrs. Jno. ELLER, Wm. RICE and Wm.
Those boys that go to the lake almost every day to catch musk rats had better
stay in school.
February 16, 1900
Feb. 12.
We're still alive--health good.
A. E. ELLER and family spent Sunday at Will RICE's.
The boys are all in the mountains for wood, so news is scarce.
School closed Feb. 2nd. The attendance for the term was not as good as it
should have been.
The wolf chase is postponed until Wes TAYLOR returns from
W. H. PRICE reports that his son and daughter are having a good time in

Feb. 20.
Corbin GOODYEAR, Otto STONE, Joe WILEY and the PRICE boys
organized a literary club last Saturday. We wish you success, boys.
March 2, 1900
Feb. 26.
Harland (sic) PRICE went to Rolla today.
W. H. PRICE will purchase a feed grinder.
Henry ELLER lost a valuable mule last Saturday.
The Brethern (sic) will build a house of worship here as soon as spring opens.
