Help! KEIM Family presumed to have lived in Cando, (Towner County), ND. I have been searching for information on my grandmother's brother. His name was Charles Alfred KEIM (b. abt. 1872 in Somerset Co., PA), a son of Jonas S. KEIM and Hester Odessa MCVICKER KEIM. His wife's name was Marie. They had four hildren -- Esther, Harry, Forest, and Lucille. His siblings were: Mary Ann KEIM (BEACHY), Nathan Winfield KEIM, Franklin Sherman KEIM, Lucinda Idella KEIM KOLBFLEISCH, Carrie Doretta KEIM WELLER, Margaret Elizabeth KEIM RODAMER, and Robert Lester KEIM. There was another sister, Alice Cora KEIM who died at age 3. I have an old family photograph of Charles, Marie and their children with "Cando, North Dakota" handwritten on it. I have no other information. Any information would be appreciated.

On November 5th I posted a query asking for help in getting information on my grandmother's brother, Charles Alred KEIM, and his family who I believed lived in Cando. I didn't have much information to go on except an old family photograph. I just discovered one more tidbit of information which may help. Charles and Marie had four children. Yesterday I found Forest KEIM on the Social Security Death Index file on the Internet. He was born 9/4/1908 and died in September 1974. Cando was listed as his place of residence. This Forest KEIM may well be the son of Charles and Marie KEIM. Since I live in Maryland, is there anyone out there who may be willing to check this out for me? If so, please e-mail me. If there is a cost involved, please let me know. Any information is appreciated. Thanks you!
