It is technically in the community of Harwood on County Road 20. It is 4 miles west from Interstate Highway 29 (Exit #69). It is next to the Maple Sheyenne Lutheran Church.


All Nations Veterans Cemetery

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe has been working on developing the 8 acre site through a grant from Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration. The cemetery will service over 2000 tribal veterans and their families. Although on the Standing Rock Reservation, the cemetery is located in South Dakota [Highway 63 is Highway 6 in North Dakota]. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Department of Veterans Affairs dedicated their new cemetery on Monday July 29, 2019.


North Dakota Veterans Cemetery

Mandan, North Dakota

In 1989 the state legislature established a 35 acre site near Mandan. Although Mandan is in Morton county the burials represent most, if not every county, in North Dakota.

In the state veterans cemetery there is an online database of over 2880 burials as of 2006 which lists full name, birth and death dates, branch of service, and rank. It is located here.

It is located 6.5 miles south of Mandan on Highway 1806. It is in the southwest corner of Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. There is a kiosk in the Visitor Center that has general information and a grave site locator.
