SIEGEL - (1870's -
1880's) 4 miles west of the Spring Valley road 3 miles south of
junction of CR 2; 38 miles east of Ely. Siegel was first called
Centerville. The camp was built due to the discovery of silver mines
on the east flank of the Schell Creek Range on Siegel Creek. Siegel
had a post office 1907-1908. Stone ruins can be
seen.
