This cemetery is located near the home of Leland and Jane Thayer on the West Branch of the 
Otsdawa, approximately half a mile from the Cooks Corners curve.

A large cemetery surrounded by a very nice stone wall, quite steep but levels off at the top/ 
Only 22 graves located. A good covering of myrtle on the top and around these graves. Not much 
golden rod but some berry bushes are getting a good start. If something was done soon to 
combat this problem, it could be a very good looking cemetery.

COOK, Jair  his wife was Lucy. Died December 18 1838   61 yrs.  "An honest
man's the noblest work of God".  There is also a broken stone on the wall
with this information.
