The following transcriptions are from stones in two family plots to be found
on the Old Pratt Farm about two miles south east of the villlage of Burlington. In memory of Charity Sill who died March 3 1828 71years Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Mary Sill who died June 5 1822
in the 91st year of her age. These were nice white marble slabs, but not erect in 1933. After much
research it was found that Charity Sill was a daughter of Mrs. Mary Sill
and Mary's first husband, Edward Pratt of Saybrook, Conn., and that Charity
married Ezra Sill (Revolutionary soldier) of Saybrook, son of Andrew Sill
and Phebe Mather. Regarding Mrs. Mary Sill a search found that she first
married Edward Pratt, Sr., son of Daniel and Mercy (Doty) Pratt of Saybrook,
and secondly married Andrew Sill of Saybrook, as his second wife. Charity
Sill was also a sister of Jeremiah Pratt and Mrs. Mary Sill a mother. Jeremiah Pratt, died Jan 21 1863 in the 99th year of his age Sacred to the memory of Jennet, consort of Jeremiah Pratt, who died
