IN MEMORIAM




                                Richard Kidder Rose - 16 February, 1929 - 19 November 1999

                                As the Historian for the Town of Laurens, Dick was always there 
                                to help, especially when people came to call in search of their 
                                ancestors. He followed the genealogy of many Laurens rooted 
                                families and his contributions to this site were many.




                                Joyce Ruth Foote 1930-2009
                                It is with deep sadness that we pass along the notice of the death of 
                                our dear friend and colleague, Joyce Foote, on Friday Jan. 2.  She was 
                                Historian for the Town of Morris for a number of years.  She had recently 
                                finished, and just published, her second book on Morris titled, Morris, 
                                New York; A Look Back. She was a joy to work with and will be missed by 
                                all those her work touched over these years.
