                                Richard Kidder Rose - 16 February, 1929 - 19 November 1999

                                As the Historian for the Town of Laurens, Dick was always there 
                                to help, especially when people came to call in search of their 
                                ancestors. He followed the genealogy of many Laurens rooted 
                                families and his contributions to this site were many.
