ADAMS

Seeking info ref my ggGrandfather Norman ADAMS (B. 1799, Oak Hill,
NY) son of Thomas ADAMS ( b. 1766).  Adams Gen shows Norman was Rector of
St Matthews Episcopal Church in Unadilla, NY, and was married to Caroline
FRISBEE.  Our family history  shows Norman married Rebecca WRIGHT.
Cemetery records confirm the FRISBEE marriage, I suppose two marriages
are a possibility. I would apreciate any info on these folks or their
relatives. Thanks.

AINSWORTH

My four greats-grandfather, Daniel AINSWORTH, died in 1810 in Cherry
Valley, Otsego County, New York, according to the Ainsworth Family in
North America Genealogy by Parker (1894).  I am looking for evidence of
his death such as a record of some sort.  So far I have come up blank.
In particular I am looking for a date when he moved from Columbia County
(last record 1791)to Otsego County.  His youngest son, Philip AINSWORTH,
married Mary CRONKHITE from Danube,Herkimer County, New York, probably
about 1800.  It is likely that he lived in Cherry Valley around this
time. Daniel AINSWORTH's wife was Elizabeth CORBIN.  I am also looking for
evidence of her death.  Philip's wife, Mary CRONKHITE, may have also died
in Otsego County.  Any help would be appreciated.

ALDERMAN

I am seeking information regarding the ALDERMAN FAMILY who lived
in Cooperstown in the early 1800's. My great-great-great grandfather
was George Alderman. By 1852, he was in Williamstown, Mass. where my
great-great grandfather, Francis Edwin Alderman was born in 1852.

ALGER

Trying to track family in the Oneonta, Milford, Davenport, Unadilla,
Colliers, Roseboom, Warnersville area. Also, has anyone every heard
of a place/location called "Young's Station" in Del. Co., this
is where Leon Alger was reported to be born on july the 29th, 1882. Believe him to be
the son of Ira Wallace's first marriage to (?). Ira's second marriage was on
November the 30th of 1882 to Mary Alice Bennett (her first marriage).

Potter Israel Allis was born of William Allis and Abigal Parker in
Exeter, Otsego Cty on 9 Dec 1809.  Am seeking any information available
on these individuals.

ALTENBURG

BROWN - seeking ancestry of Sylvester BROWN, born in Otsego
Co. in 1805.  He supposedly was the son of Andrew BROWN and
Jane WEBSTER, although I've never seen proof of this
relationship.  Andrew appears in census records of Hartwick,
Otsego Co.  Sylvester married Catherine ALTENBURG in Danube,
Herkimer Co., and moved to OH in the mid-1830s.  Thank you!

I'm looking for more info on SOLOMON (SALMON) BALDWIN b 1802 CT d 25 Mar
1871 Otsego Co NY m MARY HART b 9 Nov 1808 CT died aft 1880 Otsego Co NY.
His obit was in the paper, does anyone have access to it?

ARNOLD

Looking for descendants of Abimelech ARNOLD, b. 1762 d. 1833 in Otsego
County, NY.  He married Prudence BENNETT.  They had son Caleb who moved
to St. Joseph Co, Michigan in the 1830s.  Other children possibly Ira
and Phineas. Who were Abimelech's parents?
