be available about her. She was born 6/1896 in Esperance,
Schoharie county to Orrin Newberry and Julia A. Hunter. The
announcement in the Oneonta paper of her marriage to Chester
Price in November of 1917 stated that she had lived in Oneonta

I am trying to locate the church records of what may have been the
Methodist/Episcopal Church of Richfield Springs. The building was bought
by St. John's Presbyterian Church located on West Main Street. My

The church records should contain info about the PALMER and related

I have been to the rectory, but that pastor did not know where the
previous church records went to. Your help in this matter would be

James I Thorn or Thorne, moved to Ostego County NY before 1800,
I am searching for information on his parents, spouse and any
other information. I believe he was a carpenter by trade.
He may have married in Ostego County NY before moving to
Pennsylvania. He was in Susquehanna County PA in 1810 and moved
to Clearfield County PA in 1812. He died in Clearfield County
PA in 1839. His son Joseph may have been born in New York.
Any information on this family would be appreciated. The Ostego
County History has him in the Laurens area before 1800. He uses
his middle initial "I" which distinguishes him from other James
Thorn(e) entries of the day. Snail Mail at 2110 Walnut Street,

Looking for information concerning marriage of Coenradt (Conrad) Wiles
and Margaret _____. Their son, Henry, (believed to be their oldest
child) was baptized by Rev. Schermerhorn at the Dutch reformed Church of
the Town of Otego on April 12, 1807. Coenradt and family and his father
Henry Wiles and family may have lived on Wallaces Patent near the village
of Otego, NY at that time. They may have moved from Montgomery County
sometime prior to 1807.
Henry Wiles, who served in the Revolutionary War, died at Huntsville
(Otego?) in Otsego County in 1821. Would apprecaite any information
concerning Henry Wiles or any of his children which we believe included
Coenradt, Adam, Christian, Joseph, John, and Peggy.

Looking for information on ancestry of Henry Wiles (Weyl, Weil)
and Elizabeth Fritcher (Fritscher). Earliest information we have
is their marriage at the Reformed Church at Stone Arabia,
Montgomery Co., on Oct. 4, 1768. Henry died in Huntsville in
Otsego County NY in 1821. Elizabeth died in 1852 in Cortland Co.
NY at the agoe of 104. Much of our information comes from a
Revolutionary War Record which consists mainly of Elizabeth's
application for pension in which she eictates all she remembers
about Henry's service (fascinating!!). Incidently, the record
indicates that he fought in the "Oriscany Battle with the Indians
and British". Historical information concerning the Battle of
Oriskany does not include his name. Should it?
We believe the children of Henry and Elizabeth included:
Coenradt (Conrad) born about 1771 (our ancestor)
Adam born about 1781
Christian born 1789
Joseph
John
Peggy (married Nicholas Coanradt)
We have much information on the Wiles from 1768 to the present
that we are willing to share.

Looking for a Conrad (b. 1749 Mont. Co.) and Elida WINNE or WINNIE who
lived out their later years in Cherry Valley, N. Y. Conrad,
according to a Jeff. (NY) Co. history, was born 1749.
I suspect the year may be in error.
His wife, whose name is stated as Elida and which
I suspect may be Jane instead, lived to be 91 yrs. old.
Elida prob. died in 1840 or so. They were members of
the Methodist Episcopal Church in Cherry Valley.

evidence of this couple's residency in Otsego Co.
