Am searching for the parents of and any other information pertaining to Elizabeth "Betsey" Martin, b. 1802 m. 1825, d. 1871. Her husband was Nicholas Kittle Schermerhorn b. 1804 d. 1878. They are my g-g-g-grandparents and lived in the Town of Milford.

Am interested in the Short family-- 4 great grandfather Amasa Short died
9Dec1844. Either in Hartwick or Cooperstown. Had brother Samuel who died
21Mar1847 in Cooperstown. Both married sisters ( I believe ) Elizabeth and
Mary CROSS. They the wives were from Greenbush Albany County NY. The men were
from Killingly Windham County CT. Have been unable to find the graves of
either of these. Nor am I able to find any documentation on them or who their
parents were. If you can help at all I would be greatly appreciative.

I am looking for information on a JOHN MARKS, b. 1823 in Cherry Valley
(?), Otsego County, NY; d. 3/8/1888 (not sure where in NY, possibly
Cuyoga County). I believe he may be my gggrandfather. His son, LYMAN
A., was also born in NY 2/23/1847, but I don't have any other
information.

Mabel Eleanor Strong B. 9/10/1891 d. 4/3/1967 she maried Aubrey W.
Saxe on 10/31/1912.
Her parents were Wallace STRONG and Nora Baker, other children were
son: Jeroma Strong m. Myrtle Wood one son Robert Strong
dau: Nina Strong m. Arthur Wood, children; Elsie,
Florence,Edwin,Evelyn
son: Alta Strong m ? Hall, one son Stan Hall
son: Asa Strong unknown if married, died in WWI
They are all buried in Milford Cemetery, Milford,NY

HEAD
I am searching for further information about a direct line ancestor, Margaret
A. HEAD born 25 May 1804 in Springfield, Otsego County, New York. She
married 2 May 1820 in Owasco, Cyuga County, New York to Chauncey HIGLEY.
Sometime after their marriage the couple moved to Ohio and settled in Delaware
County, Ohio where they raised a family. Margaret died 6 Feb. 1897 in Ashley,
Delaware Co. Ohio. What I am needing is some help in finding Margaret's
parents and any siblings that existed. I have no idea who the parents were.
Is there someone who could point me in a direction that might give me some
clues as to the parents? Thank you for any help in this matter. I live in
Columbus, Ohio and I do not have access to records etc. for this area.

I am looking for the parents of Mary Ann CRANDALL born on April 2, 1810 in OTSEGO Co. NY. She married Thomas Jefferson Rhoades Sr. at Dunkirk, NY, CHAUTUQUA Co. on March 10, 1829. Thomas J. RHOADES was born at WINDHAM VT on Dec. 19, 1805. Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

I.m been searching for information concerning Gorham Casey. He was born
in Ostego (or Oswego ) county on 8-11-1804. The counties are cross mentioned
on various Wisconsin documents, He married a Betsey Elizabeth Moore (dob
8-11-1803, New Jersey) In 1850 he is listed in the Town Of Murray, Orleans
CTy on the U.S. 1850 Census under the name (CACY). I've checked on Grantor/ee
records and find he owned/transeffered real property in 1855 and 1859. He
moved to WI in time for the 1860 census. He had three male children: Justice
C., L.Edson. and James W. Casey. I've dying to learn of Gorhams parents,
marriage date, and Betsy'd family if possible. It's coceivable he is related
to several Rhode Island Casey's decended from ThoMas Casey but I can't make
that connection until I find out about Gorham's parents.

Centre-Richfield Springs area of Otsego. John Walter SWANSON b.1852 was
a country doctor there, married to Arralena BAIRD (AKA as Nin).
Arralena's parents were Daivd BAIRD (b. 1821)and Anna DUNN.
