I am looking for information on Helen Turp/ possibly Helen Turp Smith married
to Irving Smith She had a child on June 5, 1892 who was named Nancy Elizabeth
Smith. We believe that Helen Turp/Smith died about 3 years after she had
Nancy. When Nancy was 7 years old she was adopted by Fred and Alida Bates
(Alida's maiden name may have also been Turp.) Due to the fact that my great
great grandmother was adopted we are having problems finding out information

I am trying to locate information on my great great grandfather Irving Smith.
I believe that he was from the Otsego County area. His daughter was born on
June 5, 1892 to he and Helen Turp Smith. We believe that Helen died within
three years of the birth of their daughter and my great grandmother was
adopted by Fred and Alida Bates by the time she was 7 years old. Alida's
maiden name may have been Turp also. Any information would be greatly

Searching for any information on a Nicholas RIGHTOR, b 1 Sep 1754, he is
from Middlefeild 1820 census, married Catherine COOK McCOLLUM, their
daughter Sarah RIGHTOR married David Jefferson PARSHALL (an Army Dr) whose
father was John PARSHALL, a pioneer of Middlefeild. I need to know if
there is any evidence to support the fact he was a Revolutionary Soldier.

Thomson. James was born in Little Lakes, Otsego County and Helen was
