Looking for information about Oliver H. and Jane A. (Kellogg Smith)MANN.
They are burried in the Quaker Burying Ground, Morris, NY. I am trying
to connect Mornington Oscar MANN to them as a son and Worden Kellogg MANN
as a grandson. Also, I'm seeking information about their parentage.
They lived also in Cortland and Delaware Counties. Their children were:
Betsy, Martha, Emeline, Nancy, Josephine, Caroline, Frances, Phero, and
3-4 other sons.

Philo FENTON m Mary GOODSELL. Their daughter, Harriett A. FENTON b 4 Aug
1842 in Chenango Co., NY, of Exeter, Otsego Co., at the time she m. James
Austin COOK b 14 Nov 1833 prob Burlington, Otsego Co., NY. They were
married in Schuyler Lake, Otsego Co., NY. James' father is believed to
be Nathan. James Austin COOK enlisted Aug 17 1861 at Cherry Valley,
mustered in as corporal, Co. D, Sep 7 1861, to serve 3 yrs.
James is believed to have had a brother, William b 10 Nov 1838, also
Hiram FISH is listed as a brother.

in Franklin, Otsego county, New York. Also, who were her parents and
siblings
She married James Ranstead abt 1825-1830?, believe they were also married
in Otsego

I made a mistake in the marriage date of Garrison F. Smith and Emma Isora
Western .The correct date should be April 22, 1884 in Herkimer , NY.

CUMMINGS FAMILY OF OTSEGO Co., New York. Working on the book "THE
DESCENDANTS OF STEPHEN CUMMINGS, SR. 1736 to about 1815." Stephen
Cummings, Sr. was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts and removed to
Coventry, Kent, Rhode Island then Pownal, Bennington Co., Vermont and
then by 1792 he was in New Lisbon/Pittsfield, OTSEGO CO., New York and in
the first town meeting is listed as a "FENCE VIEWER." He lists
his wife as MARY in an Otsego Land Venue on 13 June 1808 between himself
and in-law James R. BOWDISH. His son Stephen Jr. married #1 Ruth GREGORY
daugter of AM.REV. Hezekiah GREGORY and Abigail BENEDICT GREGORY of
Otsego Co., New York. Ruth GREGORY CUMMINGS died 17 July 1804 in
Pittsfield, Otsego Co., New York and was buried in the Cemetery at
Welcome, New Lisbon, New York. Stephen CUMMINGS, Jr. remarried
(probably) Otsego Co., New York LYDIA (RANDALL?) about 1804/1807.
Stephen CUMMINGS, SR. believed to have died 1810/20. Some of his
children removed to STEUBEN Co., Erie Co., New York and Tioga Co., PA.
