Want all info on DANIEL GATES prob. b. Hartwick. Possibly b. about 1800 +
or -. Supposedly he married Winona ?, poss. Iroquois Indian.
They had James b. ca. 1830, was a bridge builder for the Boston and
Albany prob. around Springfieldm,MA. He died in accident about 1869. He
mar. ca. 1862-3 Caroline Fosa of French extraction. Want any info on this

I'm looking for any information available on
James Van Horne. He is my gggrandfather, and
all I know of him is that he 'grew up around
Van Hornesville or Otsego' around 1840/50/60.
He married Mary Jacque (location unknown), and
moved to Manson, Iowa (not necessarily in
that order). He had five children: Clarence,
Robert, Sara, Ada and James. Clarence Elbert

I am seeking information on the following information:
Thomas Judd son of Stephen, married Mercy Scott. He removed from
Watertown, Conneticut
to Harpersfield, New York about 1786 and afterwards lived in Otsego
County, New York at
Chenago, NY in Luzem County PA, Ontarios County NY and finally removed to
Mayfield Ohio.
This information was passed to me via a third party so I cannot vouch for
it's accuracy.
I am trying my best to substantiate the information and I would like to
know if there is
a way for me to find out if our ancestor was there and where he lived
there and when. Any advice
or help in anyway would be gratefully appreciated.

I am seeking info on Margaret A. HEAD. She was supposedly born 25 May
1804 in Springfield, Otsego Co., NY. She married Chuancey HIGLEY 2 May
1820 in Owasco, Cayuga Co., NY. They moved to Ohio, and she died 6 Feb
1897 in Ashley, Delaware Co., Ohio. Who were Margaret HEAD's parents?

I am seeking information on the family of William Cooper, founder of
Cooperstown, and his son, James Fenimore Cooper.
I am a descendent of William Cooper's cousin, James Cooper of
Philadelphia (b 1661 Stratford on Avon, Warwickshire, Eng.)
Would appreciate any assistance. I own a copy of the recent Taylor book.
