I'm researching Wm. Hardy, farmer, b. Stephentown, Ren. Co. Married by 1809 and living
in Burlington, Otsego, NY. He and wife Esther Dowd settled Unadilla,
Otsego, NY; later moved to Broome Co. On 1800 census, looks like his
parents: William Hardy,(b. RI,)and Mary Pendleton,(b. RI, d. Broome Co.)
7 sons & 2 dau. 1810 census a Wm. Hardy in Milford, Otsego, NY, and 1 in
Sringfield. The Wm I'm looking for may have been the father of Joseph,
Lucy, & Wm. R. Hardy. I'd appreciate any light you can shed on this.
Thanks..
