Otsego County Historical Society - 
The Otsego County Historical Association was started about four years
ago with the goal of educating people on the unique history of Otsego
County, taking into account its architectural, social, economic, and
scenic assets.  We meet every second Thrusday (except during Dec-Feb)
at the Kinney Library in Hartwick at 7:30PM and have a program
relating to some aspect of Otsego County.

The James Fenimore Cooper Society -The Cooper Society formed in 1989, with a board of academic 
experts on Cooper; Hugh C. MacDougall publishes its newsletter; and annually organizes and chairs the 
Cooper Panel at the annual conference of the American Literature Association. 


Chula Vista Genealogical Society Will help with Research for those illusive relatives  


Butternuts Heritage Association - Cyndie Price - They meet the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10am at 
the town of Butternuts Municipal Bldg, Rt 51, Gilbertsville, NY). We are currently looking for volunteers, 
new members and for donations. Programs are free and open to the public.
