Source: Freeman Journal 1 February 1867 Died, in the town of Cherry Valley, Jan. 21st, 1867, Mr. Gilbert Van Alstyne, aged 90 years, 11 mos and 10 days. The deceased was born in Schoharie County and moved into Cherry Valley in 1802. Died, in Cherry Valley, Dec 5, 1866, Squire Briggs, aged 89 years. Died, On the 17th Jan., at his residence in Pittsfield, Mr. Henry Moore, in the 62nd year of his age. Mr. Moore was born in the town of Butternuts (now Morris) and spent his life within a few miles of the old homestead. He was blessed with remarkable health, having never been sick previous to the illness of two weeks duration, which resulted in his death. He was a man of rare qualities. His integrity and hospitality endeared him to every friend of humanity. he died as the christian dies. As in life he was much respected, as in death he is much lamented.

Source: Freeman Journal 30 August 1884 In Oneonta, August 21, at the residence of A.J. Sullivan, Magdeline Sullivan, aged 89 years and 1 month. Mrs. Sullivan, was born in the city of Albany, coming to Oneonta when about 14 years of age, where she has since lived. She was married in 1815 to David Sullivan. Ten children were born to them, of whom six are still living.
