Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Veeder, Deceased. Be it Remembered, That heretofore, to wit: on the 20th day of March
in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and three Ida C.
Walling, Executrix named in the Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth
Veeder late of the Town of Oneonta in the County of Otsego, deceased,
appeared in open Court, before the Surrogate of the County of Otsego,
and made application to have the said last Will and Testament which
relates to Personal Estate, proved: and on such application the said
Surrogate did ascertain by sastisfactory evidence who were the heirs
at law and next of kin of the said testatrix and their respective
residences, and said Surrogate did thereupon issue a Citation in due
form of law, directed to the heirs at law and next of kin by their
respective names, stating their respective places of residence
requiring them to appear before said Surrogate at Supreme Court
Chambers in the village of Oneonta in said County, on the 15th day of
April. A.D., 1903, to attend the probate of said Will. And afterwards, to wit: on the 16th day of April A.D., 1903,
satisfactory evidence by affidavit was produced and presented to said
Surrogate, of the due service of said Citation in the mode prescribed
by law, and on that day the proponent appeared by D.W. Miller, Esq.
her attorney, in support of and no one appearing to oppose the
Probate of such Will, and there being no contest such proceeedings
were thereupon had in said Court afterwards, that the said Surrogate
took the proofs of said Will hereinafter set forth, upon this 16th
day of April A.D., 1903, and he thereupon adjudged the said Will to
be valid Will of Personal Estate, and the proofs thereof to be
sufficient, which said Last Will and Testament and proofs, are as
follows, that is to say:
Last Will and Testament I, Elizabeth Veeder, of the town of Oneonta, County of Otsego and
State of New York, do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my
last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say: First. I direct the payment of my just debts, if any. Second. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Ida C. Walling,
all of my estate of whatsoever name or nature, after the payment of
my just debts and funeral expenses. My estate consists of money on
land, notes, household furniture, my personal clothing or any and all
my estate at the time of my death. Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint Ida C. Walling sole
executrix to be my executrix of this, my last Will and Testament,
hereby revoking all former will be me made. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my
seal, the fourteenth day of June, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven. Elizabeth Veeder (L.S) We, whose names are hereto subscribed, do certify that Elizabeth
Veeder the testator, subscribed her name to this instrument in our
presence, and in the presence of each of us, and at the same time she
declared in our presence and hearing that the same was her last will
and testament, and requested us, and each of us, to sign our names
thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof, and which we hereby do
in the presence of the testator and each other, the day of the date
of the said will, and have written opposite our names our respective
places of residence.

James Stewart, residing at Oneonta, Otsego Co., N.Y. ELIZABETH VEEDER TESTATE LETTER IN THE MATTER OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE GOODS, CHATTELS, AND CREDITS OF Elizabeth Veeder Deceased The People of the State of New York To Ida C. Walling named as executrix in the last will and testament
of Elizabeth Veeder late of Oneonta, Otsego County, N.Y., deceased. Whereas, at the Village of Oneonta in the County of Otsego, on the
16th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred
and three before Nathanial T. Willis, Surrogate of the said County,
the Last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Veeder late of the said
County, was proved and allowed by us. And the said deceased having
while living, and at the time of her death, goods, chattels and
credits within the State, by means whereof, and the proving and
registering the said Will the granting Administration of all and
singular the said goods, chattels, interests and credits; and also
the auditing, allowing and finally discharging the account thereof,
doth belong to us; and you, the said Ida C. Walling, being named in
the Will as Executrix thereof; the administration of all and singular
the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, and the
execution of the powers reposed in you by said Will are hereby
grantey to you the said Ida C. Walling, you having first taken and
subsribed an oath before the said Surrogate, faithfully and honestly
to discharge the duties of such Executrix. In Witness Whereof, We have caused the seal of offic of our said Surrogate to be hereunto affixed. Witness, Nathanial T.
