To all Christian people to whom these presents shall come ... know ye that I Thomas BRAND of Westerly in Kings County & Colony of Rhode Island yeoman for & in consideration of ... natural affection which I have & do bear unto my son Robert BRAND of the Colony & County above do laboure & for other goods & considerations ... money hereunto ... give granted enfeofed confirmed unto my said son Robert BRAND his heirs forever a certain tract or parcel of land situate & lying & being in the town County & Colony aforesaid containing by examination bounty lands ... be the same more or less bounded as followeth viz: Easterly bounded on an highway Northerly partly on Stephen SAUNDERS land & partly on David LEWIS land & Westerly on John LEWIS land until it comes to Pawcatuck river & bounded up stream said river until it comes to Blackash trees which is Stephen SAUNDERS corner trees & bounded northerly on said SAUNDERS land until it comes to the highway together with all the property provided ... & commodity to the lanes belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the above given & granted premises & convey of the appertances to the law belonging unto my said son Robert BRAND his heirs forever to his and their only proper use benefit & ... forever & that to my said son Robert BRAND ... shall & may from time to time & at all times forever law after quietly & personably have said use occupy property & enjoy of above demised & granted premises with their appertances free & clear with out any manner of claim challenge in domi and of ... Thomas BRAND my heirs executors or Diminis ... or any other person or persons whatsoever for me or in my name by my consent or permission In witness where of I the said Thomas BRAND have hereunto set my hand & seal this 12th day of October & in the thirty fifth year of his majesties reign George King of Great Britain by AD 1757
