To all People to Whom these Presents Shall Come Greeting Know ye that I Daniel MACCOON of Hopkinton in Kings County & Colony of Rhodeisland in Newengland Yeoman for and in Consideration of the Sum of Seven Pounds ten Shillings Lawfull money to me in Hand Well and truly Paid Before the Ensealing Hereof by William SATTERLY of said Hopkinton & John DAVIS of Westerly Boath (sic) of Said Kings County Yeomen the Receipt Whereof Doe Hereby acknowledge & my Self therewith fully Satisfyed Contented & Paid & thereof and of Every Part and Parcel thereof Doe hereby Exonerate Acquit & Discharge the Said William SATTERLY & John DAVIS & Their Heirs Executors & Administrators for Ever by these Presents Have Given Granted Bargained Sold _____ ____ffed Conveyed & Confirmed unto them the Said William SATTERLY & John DAVIS Booth (sic) Jointly & Severally to & to Each of Them & their Heirs & Assigns forever A Certain Lot aforsaid Lying in Said Hopkinton Containing one acre & Bounded as followeth Begining at a Stake & Stones about? it ___ the North Side of a Brook about twenty or thirty Rods Eastward of where William COON now Lives & from thence South across sd Brook Northerly twenty Rods across sd Brook to a Stake & heap of Stones thence Westerly Eight Rods to the first mentioned Bounds together with the Priviledge of Erecting a Dam on sd Brook Near on the aforesd West Line of Said Acre the Dam to be Erected fourteen feet High if Needed by the sd SATTERLY & DAVIS & ____ ____ Priviledge of Erecting a Dam of sd Brook Called Roaring Brook about fifty Rods Westward of the aforesd Acre of Land as they the sd William SATTERLY & John DAVIS Shall think Proper With the Priviledge also of Digging a Ditch or Drean? from sd Roaring Brook so as to Draw the Water into the Brook aforesd which Leads ____ (smudge) acre of Land the sd Ditch to be Dugg (sic) at Such Place as the sd SATTERLY & DAVIS may think most for ____ (smudge) With Liberty of flowing from the first of September to the first of May annually ____ ____ Land as the aforesd Dam of fourteen feet High Shall flow &c       To Have and to Hold the sd Granted and Bargained & Devised Premises With all the appurtenances Right Profits Priviledges & Liberties Before mentioned & thereunto Belonging or in any Wise appertaining unto them the sd William SATTERLY & John DAVIS jointly & Severally and their Heirs and Assigns forever to Them & their only Proper use Benefit and Behoof forever and the Said Daniel MACCOON Do Hereby Covenant Promise & Grant to and With the sd William SATTERLY & John DAVIS that Before & until the Ensealing hereof I am the true Sole & Lawfully Owner of all the Before Bargained Premises & am Lawfully Seized of the Same in mine own Proper Right ____ a Good Perfect and Absolute Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple Having in my Self Good Right full Power to Sell and Dispose of the Same in Like Manner as afore Said & that the sd William SATTERLY & John DAVIS their Heirs and Assigns Jointly & Severally Shall & may from time to Time & at all times forever hereafter by force & Virtue of these Presents Lawfully ____ by and Peacably (sic) Have hold use Occupy Possess and Enjoy the Same With all the Priviledges and appurtenances Free and Clear of an from all Manner of former other Gifts Grants Bargains Sales Leases or any Incumberances Whatsoever      Furthermore I the Said Daniel MACCOON for me my Heirs Executors & Administrators Doth Hereby Covenant and Engage all the Before Premises & Priviledges unto them the sd William SATTERLY & John DAVIS their Heirs & Assigns Jointly & Severally against the Lawfull Claims or Demands of any Person or Persons Whatsoever forever Hereafter to Warrant Secure and Defend      In Witness Whereof I Have hereunto Sett my hand & Seal the Sixth Day of April in the Eight Year of the Reign of George the third King of Great Britain Anno Domini 1768

Hopkinton October the third Day 1768 Whereas I the subscriber made a Deed of Sale of one acre of Land & a Lease or Priviledge to for a Sawmill Dam to be Erected fourteen feet to flow as Much Land as Said Dam Would flow from the first of September to the first of May annually for the use of William SATTERLY & John DAVIS so appears by Deed under the hand and Seal of the Subscriber Baring (sic) Date April Sixth 1768 Yet it is to be understood that the Said William & the sd John are to Saw at all times of the year Where there is a Sufficiency of Water and Have Logs      Witness my hand

This Indenture Witnesseth made the first Day of November in the Ninth Year of the Reign of George the third King of Great Britain Anno Domini 1768 Between Hezekiah MACCOON of Hopkinton in Kings County yeoman of the one part and his father Daniel MACCOON of the Same Town & County yeoman of the other part Witnesseth that I the said Hezekiah MACCOON for the Consideration of a Deed of Gift of Two Tracts of Land Lying in sd Hopkinton the one Containing forty Eight acres and Thirty Rods the other Containing fifteen acres given this Very Day by a Deed of Gift of the same made and Executed by the Said Daniel MACCOON unto the Said Hezekiah MACCOON as may fully appear with the Bounds thereof Reference Being ___od to Said Deed Now Know ye that for the Consideration aforesaid I the Said Hezekiah MACCOON Do for the Consideration Do By these Presents Demise Lease Sett and all the Same afore Said Two Tracts of Land Contained in Said Deed of Gift Lott unto him my Said father Daniel MACCOON & his assigns for and During the Time of his Natural Life of ___with Said Daniel MACCOON to be at his own Command and to and for his own use all Which he Now being in Possession of and at the Decease of the Said Daniel MACCOON Return to the Said Hezekiah MACCOON &    In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Sett my Hand and Seal
