List of Invalids resident in the State of Rhode Island, who have been disabled in the service of the United States during the late war, and are in consequence thereof entitled to receive a monthly pension during life, as affixed to their names respectively, as a compensation proportionate to their respective disabilities and suffering while in the service of the United States, agreeably to an ordinance of Congress passed in favor of invalids, on the 7th day of June, 1785, viz:

$4.00		 Rhode Island regiment commanded by Col. Jeremiah Olney. A bad fever sore in his neck, which renders his neck stiff, and his back and shoulders much deformed; this sore was contracted when in service, in February, 1781, when sick in hospital.

General Sullivan's Life Guard Lame hip, occasioned by a wound received in action with the British on Rhode Island, Aug. 29, 1778, which renders the hip joint stiff, and has drawn the joint up in such a manner as to shorten right the leg about five inches, which renders it difficult for him to travel, the ball remaining in the hip or thigh, which has occasioned the wound to break out several times, per certificate from Dr. John Gould and Capt. Aaron Mann, who commanded the guard.

The left arm rendered useless, occasioned by a fall from a horse, in December, 1776, when the army was quartered at Neshamany ferry, Pennsylvania, which wound so fractured the arm that several pieces of bone have been extracted, and the wound is still open and the hand entirely useless.

Loss of sight of the left eye, by reason of an inflamation settling in the eye, occasioned by a bad cold taken when on the sentry in a severe snow storm at Warren, the last of December, 1778, and the left hand being a little frozen at the same time, and has a lame knee, by reason of rheumatism.

Return of all the Commissioned Officers from the State of Rhode Island who have been slain or died in the service of the United States, and the widows or orphans of such as have left any are entitled to receive seven years' half pay, as allowed at the time of their decease, agreeably to a resolve of Congress, passed on the 24th day of August, 1780, commencing from the day of their deaths respectively, and calculated on compound interest up to March, 1786, to wit:
