Mr. Abraham Angell
He was born July 28th, 1733,
& lived upwards of 70 years,
strictly honest, temperate,
& unremittingly industrious
& died regretted and lamented,
May 20, 1804
"Now he is well and nothing can be ill, His body sleeps in dust
and his immortal part with Angels lives. Shakespeare."
"My nearest friends forebear to weep, while ... silence ... asleep
for at the resurrection morn,
our souls with grace shall be adorn'd."
