   Mrs. Chief Alberson

Mrs. Comather Long Alverson of Pacolet, widow of Chief Alberson, died in Spartanburg General Hospital Thursday.

Native of Union County; daughter of the late Dave and cornelia Long; member of Bethany baptist Church of Jonesville.

Surviving; sons, Wallace Alberson of Spartanburg, Jesse Lee Alverson of Pacolet, and Fred Long of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter, Mrs Easter Washington of Paterson N.J.; sisters, Mrs Marie Jackson of Winston-Salem, Mrs Mamie Long and Mrs corrie Campbell of New York City, Mrs Lizzie Gist of Spartanburg, and Mrs Mattie Lee Prysock of White Stone; brothers, Clifford of Pacolet, Roy and Jesse of New York city, rude of Mt. Vernon, N.Y. Sam and Grant Long of Spartanburg; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family is at the home of a son, Wallace Alberson, 215 Carlisle St
