Will of
Benjamin Kennedy

In the name of God amen, I Benjamin Kennedy planter of Union District being weak in body, but of Strong mind and memory and of sound judgement, do make and constitute this my last will and testament, in the words and form following viz.

After all my just debts are settled, I give and bequeath all my personal and real Estate unto my beloved wife Lucy Kennedy, for her to have and enjoy the same with a discretional power, without issue, until my son or heirs (my wife now being pregnant) shall arrive at lawful age, and then an equal division as the law directs to be made between them (that is) my wife, and heir or heirs, furthermore I do nominate and appoint my wife Lucy and my brother Thomas Kennedy Executors of this my last will and testament

As witness where of I hereunto set my hand and seal this the 29 day of June one thousand Eight hundred Eighteen and fortyfifth of American Independence.
