"In the Name of God, Amen: I Thomas Palmer of the state of South Carolina, Union District being weak in body but of sound mind & memory & knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and Ordain this my last will & testament, that is to say, principally & first of all I give & recommend my soul into the hand of Almighty God that gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent Christian burial manner at the discretion of my Executors Nothing doubting but at the General resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give demise & dispose of the same in the manner following, to wit - First I give & bequeath to my son Jeffrey Palmer two negroes, to wit James & Harper -
Item. I give to my son Elias Palmer one negroe - Known by the name of Jacob. Item I give to my son Daniel Palmer two negroes by the name of Dinah & Solomon. Item I give to my daughter Mary Prewit one negroe known by the name of big James. Item I give to my daughter Frances Prewit one negroe woman by the name of Winney - Item I give to my son William Palmer one Negroe by the name of Charles - Item I give to my daughter Nancy Goodwin two Negroes by the name of Mealy & Michael - Item I give to my son Elisha Palmer two negroes by the name of Moses & Jane - Also my will is that my son Daniel Palmer shall have one negro Girl by the name of Lydia he paying the appraisement to the estate - Item I give to my son Jeffrey Palmer my best horse saddle & bridle, also my will is that the balance of my Estate both real & personal be Sold by my Executors hereinafter mentioned & disposed of in the manner following, that is to say, that one negroe woman by the name of Patt shall be sold in the family and have her choice of her master - or - Mistress, and the moneys arising from the Estate not herinbefore disposed of shall be distributed in Manner following - Item. I give to the Heirs of Elizabeth Calico Three hundred & three dollars - Item. I give to the Heirs of Thomas Palmer Junr - decd three hundred & three dollars. Item I give to the Heirs of Elizah Palmer (to wit) Thomas and Archibald Palmer - three hundred dollars to be Equally divided between the two - Also my will is that if any money should remain in the hands of my Executors after the above Legatees are paid of that the balance should be divided amongst my Lawful Heirs - I Likewise make and ordain my son Daniel Palmer and my trusty friend John Blasingame Executors of this my Last will and - testament and I do hereby Utterly disallow revoke and disanull all and Every other former Testaments Wills Legacies and bequestes & Executors by me in any wise before named willed & bequested, ratified & confirmed this & no other to be my only last will & Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this twenty fourth day of October one thousand eight hundred, Signed sealed & pronounced & Declared in presence of us -

Ordinary of Union District . personally appeared before me Elisha Bond & Elias Prewit who being duly sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God doth make oath & say that they saw Thomas Palmer sign seal publish pronounce declare the annexed instrument of writing to be & contain his last will & Testament & that he the said Thomas Palmer was then of sound and disposing mind memory & understanding to the best of the deponants Knowledge & belief & that they the said Elisha Bond and Elias Prewit did sign their names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the Testator - At the same time qualified - Daniel Palmer Executor - Given Under my hand the 16th - July 1804 -
