John DEES was Thomas O'CONNER's boss, & while on a cattle drive, a fight
occurred between John & Thomas, resulting in John being killed. The grave is
said to be near near the Towash-Clifton Rd, & the Towash-Meridian Rd.
Thomas O'CONNER was brought before the Bosque County court, but was released
because something was wrong with the indictment. He was arrested again in 1889,
tried & sentenced for life. However, he was pardoned Christmas of 1904.Last Update
