Hanna Cemetery
Interesting Story donated by Joy DAVIS
The Hanna Cemetery is located abut four miles northwest of Meridian off east of SH 6 on land owned by
Earl ROYAL. This land was owned by John S. HANNA in pioneer days. The first burial was of P.C. JOHNSON
in 1859 who was killed by the Indians northwest of there.  There are many broken and unreadable
stones.  As of 1986, there were only about 50 graves there.  I have the listing of graves and dates.  I will be happy to supply look ups
to anyone inquiring about people buried here from 1859 to 1986.
