WACO PAIR NOTES 50TH ANNIVERSARY

Mr and Mrs William Byston Worrell, Route 4, celebrated their 50TH Wedding
Anniversary on December 18, 1955 and took their first trip together to see one
of their children and had most of their children visit them......all during the Christmas
holidays.  The Worrells were married on Christmas Eve 1905 at Iredell, Bosque
County, Texas, where they lived until 10 years ago, when they moved to Waco.
They have four sons and threee daughters; Clyde Worrell of Austin, Ralph
Worrell of Ft Worth, Arthur Worrell of San Antonio, James Worrell of Corpus
Chisti, Mrs L.L. Houston of Iredell, Mrs Claude Kemper of Strafford and Mrs
Carol Berry of Los Angelos, Cailifornia.  Mr and Mrs Worrell went to San
Antonio for the New Years holidays to visit Arthur Worrell, his wife, and three
sons.  Since the 50 years they have been married , they have made trips to
see their children, but had never been able to go together because " one of
us had to look after something at home", according to Mrs Worrell.  Six of
their children and their families visited the Worrells here during the holidays.
 Two daughters, Mrs Kemper and Mrs Berry could not be here for the
anniversary and Christmas celebration.
 
OBSERVE ANNIVERSARY
Mr and Mrs W B Worrell are observing their Golden Wedding Anniversary
on December 18, 1955.   An open house will be held and all of their friends
are invited.  Dr. Dunlap will officiate at the ceremony when Mr and Mrs
Worrell will repeat the vows they made fifty years ago.  The ceremony and
program will begin at 2:oo p.m.
