Norma Jean Turner
A grinding 2-car crash Saturday night, 4 June
1983, near Laguna Park, left 2 persons dead & 1 seriously injured. Dead on
arrival at the Clifton Hospital were Norma Jean Turner, 53 of laguna Park &
David Mack Dickey, 30 of Hillsboro, died at 4 pm the following morning from
injuries he received in the accident. DPS trooper Gerald Baker said the
collision took place at 9:10 pm, 1/2 miles North of Hwy. 22 on FM 3118. Jimmy
McMullin, 35, of Hillsboro, was injured also. Mrs. Turner was pronounced dead
on arrival at the hospital, Dickey was transferred to Waco & expired there early
the next morning.
