Lena Mae Snell (10 Mar 1894-18 Feb 1994) was the 11th child of William Henry Snell and Margaret Lucretia Mitchell.  Lena was born in Turnersville,
Coryell County, and sometime later the family moved to Clifton with their nine surviving children.

Lena married Ralph W. Helm in 1915 and stayed in Clifton for the rest of her life.  The Helms had no children.  She was the only one in fhe family to attend college (think it was Texas PolyTech in Denton--will check this out).  She majored in music, and became organist of the First Methodist Church, a position she held until she was 91.  Lena died shortly before her
100th birthday and is buried next to Ralph Helm in Clifton Cemetery. Donated by:  Nancy PROTZMAN
