VII.  Robert Frank Polansky

Robert Frank Polansky was born at Horni Becva, Moravia, 30 November 1858.  He died at Lyons, Texas on May 1, 1948 and was buried in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery at Frenstat, Texas.

He married at Fayetteville, Texas on January 8,1884, Julia Kunc, daughter  of ______________________.  She was born in Germany, February 14, 1866.  She died at Lyons, Texas on August 19, 1908 and was buried at Frenstat, Texas.

On May 10, 1910, Robert married Mary Emilia Matcek,  daughter of Joseph and Frances Matcek.  Mary was born at Berlin, Washington County, Texas, on April 28, 1883.  She died at Lyons, Texas on June 16, 1962, and was buried at Frenstat, Texas.

Shortly after his marriage, Robert and his wife moved from Fayette County to Burleson County and settles in the Frenstat area where he farmed.  About 1894 they moved to Lyons where he joined his brother Adolph in business.  They operated a hardware store, a tin shop and a saloon.  Robert was also the undertaker in Lyons.

1.        Robert Joe Polansky I was born at Frenstat  on April 13, 1885; he died October 14, 1973 and was buried in Bryan, Texas.  He married Hermina H. (Minnie) Fojtik on November 24, 1908, daughter of Antone and Rosa Fojtik.  She was born March 15, 1888 and died June 30, 1958.
