NOVEMBER 4, 1898

Mrs. J. E. LILLY of Hannibal, Missouri recommends Dr. King’s New Discovery.

  F. E. CARROLL of Beaumont and Miss Alice BELL will be married. He is son of F. L. CARROLL, of Waco. She is daughter of E. B. BELL. They will live in Beaumont, Texas.

  One of Hugh NELSON’s horses became frightened and hurt while pulling a wagon.

 

NOVEMBER 18, 1898

Divorced: Frances BLAHA vs. Paul BLAHA. Children and property to plaintiff, except for two heifers to defendant.

  Major A. C. BISHOP, well-known civil engineer, 715 Third Ave., Detroit, Michigan recommends Dr. Williams Pink Pills for Pink People.

  Married: Miss Lillie SMITH and Mr. John W. PHILP at Dallas, at the residence of Mrs. Edward SMITH.

 

NOVEMBER 25, 1898

Married: Charles A. GRIESENBECK and Mamie STRUWE.

  Mrs. H. BETTIS of Merle community is selling her place.

  On October 30th, John W. LOVING, who has been renting the Will ADAMS place near Merle died of black jaundice. He was 47 and leaves a wife and 3 stepchildren.

  Sam JACKSON sold his meat market to BARNETT & NELMS. His brother is Ike JACKSON and they plan to go to New Mexico.
