Dominic Samuel Bertone

A Funeral Mass for Dominic Samuel Bertone, 91, of Caldwell is set for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 9, 2013, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Father Bernard Hung officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Mary's Funeral Home in Caldwell, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon John Young.  Mr Bertone passed from this world at his home in Caldwell on November 5, 2013.

Dominic was born October 4, 1922, to Anotnio Bertone and Anna (Palmen) Bertone, in Chicago, Illinois.  Dominic and his wife Doris owned and operated Commercial Equipment and Sales Company in Houston, since 1960.  It is still owned and operated by his children in Houston.  Dominic was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Caldwell, the Lions Club, and the Knights of Columbus.  Dominic was a wonderful and generous person and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  z

 He was preceded in death by his parents, and his mother-in-law, Della Baker-Daniels.  Dominic is survived by his wife, Vivian Doris (Baker) Bertone of Caldwell, son and daughter-in-law, Dominic Samuel II & Bernice Bertone of Houston, daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy Ann and Kenneth Miller of Houston, brother, Steve Bertone of Houston, sister and brother-in-law, Lena and Livio Drugovich of Houston, grandchild, Samuel Wayne Bertone and wife Audrey, great grand daughter, Izabella, niece, Jo Ann Drugovich, and nephew, Robert Drugovich. 

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home of Caldwell.
