Note:  There is a small Burleson County museum in the Basement floor of the courthouse.  It is only open on Friday afternoons.

Note:  They have old newspapers (1897-forward) to look at on Thursdays and Fridays.  They are also available on microfilm, but not very accessible.  They are in  a bank and there is no readily available reader.

Note:  There is a small Czech museum there.  The Czech Historical committee is in the process of renovating a donated old house, which once belonged to a Czech family (Polasek).  It will eventually contain the memorabilia for the Czech museum and will be located on Fawn Street near the down town area.
