ALLARD, H. B. (HOLLON) Born May 15, 1913 in Klondike, Delta County, Texas to Charles B. and Jessie Hollon Allard, both deceased. Mr. Allard is also preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Gregg Allard. Oldest of 5 children: 2 brothers, Marion and Manson Allard, both deceased. 2 sisters, Gwendalyn Allard Waller, deceased and Lavonia Allard Lewis of Grand Prairie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mr. Allard was a life long resident of Garland, Texas. He was involved early on as an educator in the schools, very active in the business of the area, and was instrumental in the politics and development of the City of Garland. Mr. Allard died December 24, 2006 after suffering a massive stroke. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006, 10:30 A.M. Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church in Garland, Texas or to the charity of your choice in honor of Mr. H.B.
