Service for Betty Lou
Fuchs, 77, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May
29, 2013 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Committal will be at
1:00 P.M., Thursday, May 30, 2013 in the Riverdale Cemetery in Rotan.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to
1:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Betty Lou Fuchs passed away Saturday, May, 25, 2013 in Alvarado. She was born March 30, 1936 in Clairemont to Chester and Maude Tatum Ratliff. She married Elton Albert Fuchs and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Fuchs worked as a cashier and hostess for Hostess Bakery in Houston, retiring with 20 years of service. She was of the Christian faith. Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Fuchs of Rio Vista, Nina Fuchs and Lisa Herrmann and husband Tim, all of Houston; son, Victor Fuchs and wife Catherine of Rio Vista; four grandchildren, Victor, Justin, Ryan and Luke; sister, Myrtle Bohanan and husband Acorn of Rotan; and a brother, James Ratliff and wife, Dianne of Snyder. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgie; brothers, Willis, Joe, and C.D. Ratliff. Published in Star-Telegram on May 28, 2013 |
