Mrs. Roberta W. Bartee, age 81, of Albany, Texas passed
away on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at her home. There will be a graveside
service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Moran Cemetery with
the Rev. Jerry Krueger officiating. Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Godfrey - Neese Funeral Home.
Albany, Texas
Mrs. Roberta W. Bartee, age 81, of Albany, Texas passed away on Saturday,
December 27, 2008 at her home.
Roberta was born on February 23, 1927 in Moran, Texas, the daughter of R. W.
"Bud" Brooks and Florence Rogers Brooks. Roberta married Edgar Lee Bartee in
1946 in Breckenridge, Texas. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a
member of the First United Methodist Church.
There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2008 at
the Moran Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Krueger officiating. Arrangements are
under the care and direction of Godfrey - Neese Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bartee is survived by: two sons, Larry Bartee and wife, Ginger and Garry
Bartee and wife, Marilyn of Dublin, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 9 great
grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
