Lovington Man Will Retire from Texaco
Lovington, New Mexico
JOHN A. CHRISTESSON, who has completed 33 years of service with Texaco Inc., will retire from the Midland Division, Producing Department (East) at Lovington, effective May 1, according to W. E. MORGAN, district superintendent at Hobbs.

Christesson is a native of Stephens County. He joined Texaco as a roustabout in 1936 at Wink. Subsequently he has served as a truck driver in Wink and Penwell, and as a pumper in Lovington. He was promoted to pumper in 1944 at Buckeye. Christesson is an avid sportsman.

He and Mrs. Christesson live at 1813 West Washington and intend to live at this address during retirement. They have two children, JOHN L. CHRISTESSON and Mrs. E. L. ARCHER of Odessa and six grandchildren.
