Open House to Honor RAY L. GREENLEES
Breckenridge: Mr. and Mrs. RAY L. GREENLEE will celebrate their 50th wedding
anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at their home.
Hosting the celebration will be their children, DARRELL R. GREENLEE of Houston,
ROBERT L. GREENLEE of Dallas, Mrs. JOAN JONES of Brownsville and Mrs. CHUCK L.
MCHURGAE of Odessa.
Mr. Greenlee was born Aug. 14, 1902 at Wayland; Mrs. Greenlee was born July 6,
1904 at San Saba. They met as children living on adjoining farms. They were
married July 19, 1921 at Wayland where they have always lived. Mr. Greenlee is a
farmer. Mrs. Greenlee worked for the Breckenridge School System, driving a
school bus and working in the cafeteria.
They are members of the Church of Christ. The couple have 14 grandchildren.
Ranger, will be honored on their 50th wedding anniversary
Sunday, with a reception in the Wayland Community Center. Calling hours for
relatives and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m.
Hosts for the golden wedding celebration will be their sons and their families,
the TROY GREENLEES of Snyder; WAYNE GREENLEES of Abilene and LEON GREENLEES of
Albuquerque, New Mexico. There are five grandchildren.
