Mrs. JAMES WASHINGTON CURRENT
Mrs. J. W. CURRENT, 73, died in a hospital here Monday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Nalley-Pickle Chapel with JAMES EUBANKS, North Side Church of Christ minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Memorial Park.

Mrs. Current (MARY HOUSTON), who was born July 21 1885 in Throckmorton, had resided here for the past 20 years, making her home on Route No. 2. Surviving are three sons, PAUL and HERMAN CURRENT of Oroville, California, and E. J. (ELISHA JOHN) at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; a daughter Mrs. C. M. (LENA) WHITE of Big Spring; three sisters, Mrs. VIRGIE GREEN of Tatum, New Mexico, Mrs. CORA JONES of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. BILLIE ELLIS of Slaton; two brothers, DAVE HOUSTON of Snyder and CLAUD HOUSTON, who lives in Michigan, and 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
