Alice Bernice Coplan Fade


 
Mrs. Jay Fade, Longtime County Resident, Dies.
 
                Mrs. Jay b. Fade, 52, resident of Breckenridge for 44 years, died at 5:55 p.m. Sunday in Stephens Memorial Hospital. She died of cancer after an illness of several years.
                Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today in the Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Andy Anderson, pastor of Rose Avenue Baptist Church, officiating. He was assisted by the Rev. Floyd Schaeffer, pastor of First Assembly of God Church.
                Burial was in Baker Cemetery, with Melton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
                Born September 19, 1913, in Kansas City, Missouri, she came to Breckenridge in 1921 with her parents. She was married to Jay B. Fade November 21, 1959, in Breckenridge, and was the former Alice Bernice Coplan. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
                Survivors include her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Coplan of Breckenridge; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Hermanson of North Kansas City, Missouri; and three nephews.
                Pallbearers were B. H. Greer, D. L. Jones, Omer Palmer and Al Meeks, all of Breckenridge; and Lawrence Badley and Neal Green, both of Albany.
