                Funeral services for Irene Mitchell Green, an 83-year old Breckenridge resident, were held on Sunday, June 27, 1993, at 4 p.m. at Morehart Mortuary. Reverend Rex Boggs, pastor of Gunsight Baptist Church, officiated. Burial followed in Caddo Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
                Mrs. Green died Friday afternoon, June 18, 1993, at Villa Haven Nursing Home.
                She was born on February 23, 1910 in Caddo. She attended schools in Brad. She married Edgar L. Green in Strawn on April 19, 1928. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1989.
                They had farmed and ranched in the Caddo area. She was a housewife and a member of Caddo Methodist Church.
                Survivors include; one daughter, Margie Hightower of Breckenridge; two sisters, Leo Cougar of Palo Pinto and Bertha Mae Cook of Breckenridge; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
                She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marie Carey, and two sons, Eddie Lee Green and Clarence Ray Green.
                The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association. Memorials may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
                Pallbearers were Bob cook, Guy Couger, Mack Couger, Bill Mitchell, Dave Mitchell, Gail Mitchell and Kenneth Mitchell.
