                BRECKENRIDGE – Panzee (Mrs. John) Guyton, 68, died Friday at her residence.
                Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at first Baptist church with Jim Cox and Rev. Bubba Stahl officiating. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery, directed by Morehart Mortuary.
                Born in Eastland, she lived in Breckenridge most of her life. She graduated from Breckenridge High School and attended Tarleton State University. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a former church secretary. She was an office worker at Breckenridge High School and bookkeeper for Dunigan Tool and Supply. She and her husband ran Guyton Jewelry. She had been a girl scout leader, Band Boosters member and an officer for Girls Softball Association.
                Survivors include her husband, John R. Guyton of Breckenridge; two daughters, Claire Vollmar of San Antonio and Terri Cozart of Breckenridge; a sister, Maxine Fambro of Breckenridge; a brother, Jack Taylor of Richland Springs; a stepsister, Dorothy Speer of Ranger; a stepbrother, Henry Sorell of Breckenridge; four grandchildren; eight nieces; and seven nephews.
                Memorials may be made to the Girling Health Care.

                Mrs. John “Panze                e” Guyton died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 1988, at her residence following a lengthy illness.
                Services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church with Jim Cox, minister of Elliott Street Church of Christ officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bubba Stahl, pastor of First Baptist Church.
                Burial was in Breckenridge Cemetery directed by Morehart Mortuary.
                Born Panzee Taylor, June 10, 1920, in Eastland, she moved to Breckenridge at the age of two. She attended East Elementary and graduated from Breckenridge High School. She attended Tarleton State University for one year before her mother died and then returned home to care for her father, a sister and two brothers for the next six years.
                She had worked as the church secretary at First Baptist Church, in the Breckenridge High School office and then as a bookkeeper for Dunnigan Tool and Supply.
                She married John R. Guyton, Jan. 24, 1953, in Breckenridge.
                She was bookkeeper and all-around helper at Guyton Jewelry with her husband until her death.
                She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Dorcas Sunday School Class, had taught Sunday School, was a Girl Scout leader, Band Booster’s member and an officer in Girl’s softball.
                Survivors include her husband of Breckenridge; two daughters, Claire Vollmar of San Antonio and Terri Cozart of Breckenridge; two sons-in-law, Fred Vollmer of San Antonio and Rocky Cozart of Katy; four grandchildren, Erin and Brent Vollman of San Antonio and Shelby and Amanda Cozart, both of Breckenridge; one sister, Maxine Fambro of Breckenridge; one brother, Jack Taylor of Richland Springs; one stepsister, Dorothy Speer of Ranger; one stepbrother, Henry Sorell of Breckenridge; eight nieces; and seven nephews.
                She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Hattie Knight Taylor; two brothers, Bobby Neil Taylor and Kenneth Taylor; and one stepbrother, Bill Sorell.
                The family requests memorials be made to Girling Health Care and may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
                Pallbearers were Mike Cox, Kent Fambro, Neil Fambro, Jimmy Dye, Chuch Loggains, Jim Rominger, Weldon Waller and Jim Wilkerson.
                Honorary pallbearers were Evelyn Hitchcock, Haskell Key, J.D. and Marion Jones, Pauline Sullivan, Evelyn Simmons, Gerald and Jimmie Loudder, Frances Odom, Jack Merrill, Julie Fore, Barbara Waller, Elmo Maxey, Pauline Dye and Skeet Fambro.
