                Funeral services for Charlcy Post, an 82-year old Breckenridge resident, were held on Friday, February 19, 1993, at 10 a.m. at Morehart Mortuary. Reverend Charles West, pastor of Bethany Baptist Church and Mrs. Post’s son-in-law, officiated. Burial followed in Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
                Mrs. Post died Wednesday evening, February 17, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
                She was born Charlcy Andrews on September 17, 1910 in Necessity. She grew up in Stephens County and graduated from Breckenridge High School.
                She married Harold Bryant Post in Breckenridge on June 13, 1935. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1981.
                She worked at Woolworth’s for a short time, but was a homemaker most of her life. They had lived in Tallulah, Louisiana where they farmed from 1942 to 1968 when they moved back to Breckenridge. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
                Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Charlene and Charles West of Breckenridge; one sister, Maxye Nelson of Perris, California; three grandsons, Keith West of Frisco, Kevin West of Strawn and Craig West of Eastland; one aunt, Rosa Gene Carroll of Breckenridge; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
                The family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Memorials may be left at Morehart Mortuary.
                Pallbearers were Weldon Leonard, Judd Jones, Van Grimes, Frank Rork, R.J. Wallace and Frank Webb.

                BRECKENRIDGE – Services for Charlcy Post, 82, will be at 10 a.m. today at Morehart Mortuary with the Rev. Charles West, a son-in-law, officiating.
                Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery. She died Wednesday in the local hospital.
                Born in Necessity, she grew up in Stephens County and graduated from Breckenridge High School. Mrs. Post had worked at Woolworth’s for a short time, but remained a homemaker most of her life.
                She and her husband, Harold, who preceded her in death, lived in Tallulah, La., where they farmed from 1942 until 1968, at which time they returned to Breckenridge.
                She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
                Survivors include a daughter, Charlene (Mrs. Charles) West of Breckenridge; a sister, Maxye Nelson of Perris, Calif.; three grandsons, Keith West of Frisco, Kevin West of Strawn and Craig West of Eastland; and several nieces and nephews.
                Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and can be left at the funeral home.
