                BRECKENRIDGE – Maurice Wright, 86, died Thursday morning at his residence. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday at Melton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Andy Channer officiating. Burial will be in Breckenridge Cemetery.
                He was born in Blanco. He had lived in Breckenridge since 1928, where he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Elks Lodge No. 1480. He was a retired service manager for Blodgett Motor Co. and a member of the American Legion.
                He was also a World War II veteran.
                Survivors include his wife, Kathyrn Clarke Wright of Breckenridge and a sister, Anna Bess Sutherland.
                Memorials may be made to the Elk’s Club Floyd Watts Scholarship Fund or a favorite charity.
