Obituary

Burton, Feb 4, 1901 - Mrs. Mary Blackburn, aged 73 years, widow of the late A J Blackburn, 
died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. A. Elliott, at 3 o'clock this morning after a short
 illness of pneumonia.  Mrs. Blackburn was one of the pioneer settlers of this section, and has for 
years been a consistent member of the Christian church.  She was highly esteemed by all who knew
her, and besides a large circle of friends, leaves seven children, Messrs Wayne, Jerome, 
and Frank Blackburn, Mrs. W. A. Elliott, Mrs. T. D. Garrett, Mrs. T. Morelock, and Mrs. H. F. Struck
 to mourn her loss.
