Brenham, Tex., Sept. 16.--Mrs. Adelaide A. FOOTE, a very estimable lady, who has been an invalid for a number of years, died at the residence of her uncle, Col. B. C. GIDDINGS, at 9:30 o'clock last night. Deceased was a native of Pennsylvania and came to Texas about 1873. She leaves two children--Mr. Edward FOOTE of Redwing, Minn., and Miss Frankie FOOTE, who lives with her mother, but is at present visiting her brother in Minnesota.
