Brenham, Tex., Jan. 6..--Rev. L. P. RUCKER died Saturday at 11:30 p.m. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon from 
his late residence. Deceased was 74 years of age and had been a resident of this county for many years. He was rector of St.
 Peter's Episcopal church at this place until recently, when he retired from the ministry. He leaves a family of five children,
 who are all of age.
