J. Allcorn The State of Texas Washington County Personally appeared before the undersigned authority T. J. Allcorn the above applicant for Pension who after being my me duly sworn, on his Oath says that he was a Soldier in the Army of Texas, which separated said state from Mexico, in the year 1835 that he first served in Capt. Jack Hall company and was afterward transferred to Capt. Travis’ cavalry company that he does not know the particular dates of entering and quiting the service. T. J. Harbour a credible citizen of the state of Texas who after being by me duly sworn on his Oath stated that he knows of his own knowledge that the said T. J. Allcorn was a Soldier in the Army of Texas in the year 1835, that he is about Sixty one years old, and a resident of Washington County in said state: And that he believes him to be justly entitled to a Pension for service under the Act of the Legislature granting Pensions approved August 13, 1870. Allcorn of Brenham is suspended. ********************************** State of Texas County of Gonzales Comes Winfield Alford of said County and State a creditable citizen to me well known who being duly sworn according to Law declares the T. J. Allcorn of Washington County of said State the present applicant for Pension is the identical T. J. Allcorn who was a private soldier in Capt. W. B. Travis company in the year AD 1835 and that while in sand company he the said T.J. Allcorn participated in the battle at the Old Mill and at Conception near San Antonio in the year AD 1835 and served faithfully & honorably in said company and affiant further says that he served in the same company and participated in the same battles at the same time with the said T. J. Allcorn.
