At Richland Center, December 9th, by Rev. J. Walworth, Mr. James Clarson and Miss May Hamilton both of Rockbridge.

At the residence of the bride’s father in the town of Ithaca, December 3, 1884, by Rev. N. Spyker, Mr. Luther W. Posr and Miss Kate H. Smith.
The event took place in presence of a large number of the near friends and relatives from both sides. Aside from the congratulations and warmly expressed good wishes of the assembled guests, it was made the occasion of many substantial expressions of the esteem in which the bride and groom are held by their many friends. Smith, glass set, castor, and broom; Miss Annie Smith, fruit stand; Mrs. and Mrs. M. M. Smith, Longfellow’s poems; Mrs. Carrie S?, Clinton, Iowa, silver pickle caster (?), pickle tongs, and sugar spoon; Miss Kate Hale, Solon, Ohio, silver butter knife; Mrs. Simon Spyker, linen towel; Mr. and Mrs. W.
