At the residence of the bride’s father in the town of Ithaca,
December 3, 1884, by Rev. N. Spyker, Mr. Luther W. Posr and Miss Kate H. Smith.
The event took place in presence of a large number of the near friends and
relatives from both sides. Aside from the congratulations and warmly expressed
good wishes of the assembled guests, it was made the occasion of many
substantial expressions of the esteem in which the bride and groom are held by
